1897

Carlo Drali is born, father of Giuseppe.

1910

At the age of 13, Carlo Drali started working at Biciclette Olimpia Olimpia Bycicles, in the racing frame department.

1914

Carlo is hired and sent to the racing department by Edoardo Bianchi.

1918
1923

After having fought the war, Carlo returns to Bianchi to build frames for Girardengo, Olmo, Aspisi and for track racer Bergmi, known as the cyclone of Porta Romana

1925

The Bicicletteria Drali Drali’s bikeshop is born.

1928

On the 11th of November Giuseppe Drali was born

1940

The Coppa Drali is established, classic 100 kilometers start-to-end in front of the shop.
Due to italy’s involvement in WWII in spring, the event was disrupted.

1941

Giuseppe Drali begins to to work in collaboration with his father, unmasking secrets of frame production, and soon becoming a master at work.

1945

As the war reached its end, Bianchi, Carlo and Giuseppe Drali are put in charge of producing their first bike for a rider who marked history in cycling as one of the most successful champions of all time:

1946

Fausto Coppi, who a year later, wins the first “Sanremo” with a Carlo Drali frame.

1947

The shop increases in popularity such that Carlo and his son are forced to give up their job in the production of Bianchi’s bikes, and are substituted by Benotto Pinella de Grandi, known as Pinza d’Oro ‘golden nipper’ regardless.
The Bianchi-Drali collaboration still continues.

1950

The Specialissime Drali bikes make a scene in the sports market, to the point where Adriano Rodoni, the president of the Genova Sporting Club becomes the official supplier of Drali’s bikes. The Club was the most entitled and numerous club of the time.

1958

Giuseppe Drali meets Marisa In a ball room, a woman who 12 months later will become his wife, for over 50 years.

1970

The Bianchi activity resigns from the sports market, producing solely everyday bikes. Due to popular discontent, as many sportsmen demanded a customed Specialissima.
Peppino, Giuseppe, was put in charge of tailoring sports bikes, which will be watermarked as “Bianchi, elaborated by Drali”

1982

The bikeshop is moved to via Agilulfo, close to where it was originally founded. By this time the area was populated by riders, frame workers and friends who would gather round the shop on a daily basis, such that after 6pm, it resembled a proper Sport Bar.

1987

A longlasting friendship kicks start between Peppino and young surgeon Angelo Mantovani, who would give Drali a hand in keeping the shop clean and neatly in place after his long shifts at the San Paolo hospital, in exchange for advice and bike maintenance.

2012

Drali is crowned with the title “Cavaliere del Lavoro” the Knight of work for his long lasting successful career, where he mentioned the hard work and support of both his father and his wife, who recently passed away.

2014

Due to the death of his wife, Drali decided to close down the shop as he felt he could no longer conduct the activity on his own.

2016

Through a mutual friendship with Angelo Mantovani, Drali meets Gianluca Pozzi who alongside Andrea Camerana and Robert Carrara advice Drali to not end his activity and instead to reintroduce the production of Drali frames.

2017

Cicli Drali Milano SRL is founded, a new company reintroducing the production of Drali frames alongside Drali himself.
The new shop opened in July in Via Nicola Palmieri 25, incorporated in the workshop, reevoking Drali’s old style
On the 11th of November, on Drali’s 89th, the shop is reopened with a major ceremony.

2018

The sector Corse Steel Drali Milano is born, a professional team participating in the Criterium itala and Redhool championships
With the intention of reuniting all sports-bike lovers, the association Sportiva Amatori Drali is founded with the aim of developing new initiatives and bring back to life past-time events such as the Coppa Drali.

2020

A new brand identity is developed. At the same time a new website and a new printed catalog are created.

2021

The new Flagship Store has been opened. A new area formed by 3 new windows was added to the existing store. This space is used as a showroom, for the organization of events related to the world of cycling, and to offer new services such as biomechanical examination for the optimization of the riding position.

2021

At the end of the year Drali leaves us. A great sorrow, because we have lost a friend. All his stories remain, which we will keep with affection, and Alexander, who received the baton and continues the work according to the teaching of "Pep."

2022

Start collaboration as main sponsor with Coppa Piemonte, the circuit of 6 granfondo races organized between Lombardy and Piedmont www.circuitocoppapiemonte.it

2023

Continental Sias Rime Drali team sponsorship begins. With the Amethyst model, the team brings a Drali bike to victory for the first time among professionals.

2023

The new collection of bicycles divided into three categories is presented: Road, Gravel and Special.

2024

We participate for the first time in a fair/event abroad, in Belgium. In fact, the Drali collection is exhibited at one of the most important bike fairs, Velofollies.

2024

The new printed catalog 2024-2025 is produced
